As early-detection methods and treatments for breast cancer have improved over the past decades, more and more American women have come to count themselves among the more than 2 million US survivors of breast cancer, and their ranks are expected to keep growing.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering has developed an extensive range of programs and services geared specifically to breast cancer survivors -- addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological effects of the disease and its treatment. Many of our initiatives have served as models for programs and services for cancer survivors at other hospitals around the country.

In this section, you can learn about our support programs for breast cancer patients and their families.
