Join the Cause
Fred's Team is always recruiting enthusiastic and energetic volunteers. Our greatest need is for volunteers at the New York City Marathon that takes place every November. Whether greeting runners at the marathon expo, setting up refreshments on marathon morning, cheering along the course, or wrapping runners in Mylar blankets at the finish line, volunteer participation is vital to ensure the success of our program.
If you live in New York but can't help out on event day, consider volunteering to pass out water and Gatorade at a weekend training run. Our team trains every weekend in Central Park, from June until November. Our staff provides all of the refreshments for distribution.
In addition to New York, Fred's Team competes in marathons in Boston and Chicago. If you live in either Boston or Chicago, please consider supporting our team at one of those events.
