We are a basic research laboratory that studies the structural, biochemical, and functional basis for molecules involved in post-translational protein modification and RNA stability. Main areas of interest include how these systems are involved in signaling, cell cycle control, nuclear localization, and regulation of RNA metabolism. We are particularly interested in learning how these pathways contribute to cell growth and disease.
