Nurses
Today, the nurses at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center set the standards for excellence in cancer nursing care with collaborative practice models, nurse-run units, and case management methodologies across a wide range of practice areas.
Each nurse participates in the Clinical Ladder. Our ladder rewards and recognizes nurses who have developed expertise in nursing practice, and who function as models and teachers for their less experienced colleagues. The path for clinical nursing experience follows the continuum of: Clinical Nurse I; Clinical Nurse II; Clinical Nurse III; and Clinical Nurse IV.
