But before she was to begin a master's degree program in public communication, the road to her future took a sudden, grim turn when she was diagnosed with tongue cancer.

Spin4Survival

On Sunday, January 27, 2008, cyclists in the metro NYC area will have the opportunity to challenge their physical endurance and, at the same time, raise funds for cancer research and survivorship programs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The event is the Second Annual Spin4Survival, to be held at the Equinox Fitness Club (Broadway and 60th Street). Riders of all ages and abilities are needed to make this year's event a success.
