Patients are admitted for surgical resection, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and symptom management to one of our inpatient units. Each unit serves as the center for a Disease Management Team. A multidisciplinary team, which includes attending physicians, fellows, residents, interns, nurse practitioners, nurses, case managers, social workers, physical and occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, and others, manages the clinical care and psychosocial issues of patients. Nurses receive a unit-specific orientation.
