As a specialist in integrative medicine, I use an integrative approach to combine evidence-based complementary therapies with conventional treatments for cancer patients to manage cancer-related symptoms. I am actively involved in investigating the scientific basis of complementary and alternative therapies and have lectured throughout the USA and in India, Europe, and Asia regarding complementary therapies. My primary research interests include botanical therapies, mind-body therapies including meditation and yoga, and acupuncture.
