Gary E. Deng
Many cancer patients are interested in the role of complementary and alternative medicine before, during and after cancer treatment. I help patients understand how some of these therapies may help them while others can be quite risky. I also specialize in managing some of the symptoms caused by cancer or cancer treatment, taking advantage of what complementary therapies have to offer. My research interests focus on the potential use of botanical products in cancer treatment and cancer prevention, as well as the use of complementary therapies for controlling cancer-related symptoms.
